Does Trintellix cause hair loss?

Does Trintellix cause hair loss?

No, Trintellix is not associated with hair loss as this side effect and is not even listed in the adverse reaction sheet of this antidepressant. In fact, it was not reported in any of the clinical trials and other research studies.

However, experts believe that meds react differently in different individuals. If you are losing hair and you think Trintellix is responsible for it, talk to your healthcare provider.

I would not recommend changing your dose or stopping your medication abruptly. If your doctor thinks Trintellix is causing any type of toxicity in your body, he/she will ask you to discontinue it.
