Can you take Tylenol with Tamiflu?
Yes, Tylenol and Tamiflu can be taken together safely. Tylenol contains Acetaminophen, the safest and most commonly used painkiller (1). Tamiflu is Oseltamivir, an antiviral medication. (2)
Both of the medications are safe to use as they have different mechanisms of action and different side effect profiles. They neither interact with one another nor cause any additive side effects. (1,2)
So, go ahead and use them together. Tylenol can also reduce the fever associated with a viral infection. Tamiflu can also be used with other OTC cold, flu, and cough medications, like NyQuil, Delsym, etc.
