Dr Milena has served as a Clinical Pharmacist, providing expert supervision and guidance to teams during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in the ICUs of two reference hospitals for patient hospitalization.
In her most recent role, Dr Milena worked on the implementation of the deliberatives of the São Paulo State Government Pharmaceutical Assistance Coordination. These decisions were aimed at ensuring medication access within the Unified Health System.
A widely multidisciplinary background enabled Dr Milena to become a professional capable of integrating scientific knowledge into private initiatives, education, and healthcare, delivering consistent services in patient safety and population health.

Can you take NyQuil with Tamiflu?
Yes, you can safely take NyQuil with Tamiflu. Tamiflu is an antiviral medication which works well with most medications and doesn’t have a lot of drug interactions reported (1).
NyQuil has three active ingredients – Dextromethorphan, Acetaminophen, and Doxylamine (2). None of these ingredients interferes with Tamiflu or how the antiviral works.
The side effect profiles of these medications are quite different and the adverse effects are not commonly seen at standard therapeutic doses. So, it’s absolutely safe to take NyQuil and Tamiflu together.
Potential benefits of taking NyQuil with Tamiflu
Taking NyQuil with Tamiflu can be beneficial for some reasons, including:
Symptom relief
NyQuil is an over-the-counter medication commonly used to relieve cold and flu symptoms, such as cough, congestion, and sore throat (1).
