Can you take two Medrol dose packs in a row?
You can take two Medrol dose packs one after the other if your condition demands it and if it is recommended by your healthcare provider. The long-term use of Corticosteroids is frowned upon for a reason and there are a number of side effects associated with it.
A single Medrol dose pack contains 21 tablets which are intended to be taken over a period of 6 days. Taking two of these back-to-back means you will take the medication for 12 days, which is not considered long-term use.
