If you have accidentally taken Trazodone in the morning, don’t engage in any activity that requires your full mental attention – like driving or operating heavy machinery. Trazodone is a sedative antidepressant, which is why most doctors recommend taking this medication at night.
In fact, it is also prescribed for the management of insomnia. You can imagine how this medication will put you to sleep if you take it in the morning – but don’t worry! It doesn’t affect your health in any way but will affect your day. So just lie down and relax.
If you have to be somewhere and you think you can manage it, you can go. Just make sure you don’t drive – call an Uber or something. Driving when your mental alertness is not at its best is not only dangerous for you but also for everyone else around you.
When is the best time to take Trazodone?
